Key Objectives

The first phase of the Limmattalbahn was successfully opened in September 2019. By 2022, the entire route should be completed. Communication shows the benefits of the new connection and thus contributes to the acceptance of the Limmattalbahn in the region.



C-Matrix as an external communication agency closely supports LTB and advises the LTB project team on strategy and positioning:

  • Development of an independent corporate identity with Tatin from Basel, redesign of the website and all basic documents
  • Media work: Editing of specialist articles and media releases, coordination of media talks and running the Twitter account
  • Organisation and implementation of events such as Open Day, ground-breaking ceremony with BP D. Leuthard and information events



The media coverage at the ground-breaking ceremony was across all channels positively taken and extensive. Dialogue with supporters and opponents of the Limmattalbahn AG.
